Structure: Verb (short past) + り、Verb (short past) + り + する
Meaning: Do such thing as this and that
Example:
[週末|しゅうまつ] は [買い物|かいもの] に [行|い]った{り}、[友達|ともだち] と [話|はな]した {り} します。
On weekends, I do things like go shopping and chat with friends.
